Two complementary three hour social races, conducted on the third Saturday of each month are also included. All students are entitled to discounts on further sailing courses, charters and packages. Many of our sail training graduates have taken up sailing with a passion. Chris Argent started with Sydney By Sail in 1998 and after having progressed through the sailing school can be seen regularly chartering a luxury Sydney By Sail yacht showcasing our Harbour to clients or just mucking about with his buddies. Warwick and Kate Hamilton, like Chris passed through the school in the late 1990's. We began working with Warwick's Events Company soon after and have been ever since. They decided to take the plunge into yacht ownership and purchased a new Hunter 33 and placed it in the Sydney By Sail charter fleet. From students to yacht owners!! When Alison and Alan Day finished their Inshore Skipper course they bought a beautiful Moody 40ft yacht and are now sailing the world. Fred Etter is now a highly sought after ocean racing crew since he graduated from Sydney By Sail. Fred also continues to charter with Sydney By Sail.
