Sydney by Sail was established at Darling Harbour, Sydney in 1995 by the Managing Director Matt Hayes. Matt has a wealth of experience in owning and operating sailing businesses since 1982. This includes our sister company US yachts Pty Ltd which is the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Hunter Yachts and sailboats. Matt is also a successful racing sailor having competed in many National and International events including the Admirals Cup, Kenwood Cup, World sailing championships, Atlanta Olympic Games and numerous Sydney to Hobart Yacht races. Matt's dream is for as many people as possible to enjoy the pleasure of sailing on our world famous Sydney Harbour. | ||||||||||||
| Ed Penn is a highly valued member
of Sydney By Sail since 1997 whereby he holds a senior management role.
Ed is a highly experienced Commercial Skipper, Sail
Trainer and possesses expert knowledge on a wide number of sailing related
issues. His knowledge of Hunter
yachts is arguably the best in Australia. Ed also holds Bachelor of
Science qualifications from the University of Sheffield Hallam in the UK. |
