BAREBOAT AND SKIPPERED CHARTERS
Sydney Harbour is recognised as one of the most beautiful waterways
in the world. This natural deep water port is fringed by white sandy
beaches, quiet coves and has an abundance of wildlife. Sydneysiders
take pride in keeping this magnificent harbour clean...clean enough
and warm enough to swim in year round. The harbour foreshores display
Australians most expensive real estate with many famous Aussies amongst
the privaleged few. Sydney Harbour is the scene of many wonderful events
such as Boxing
Day and the start of the Sydney
to Hobart yacht race and Australia
Day.
You can charter any, or all of our yachts for full or half-day charters
to explore the many delights of Sydney Harbour. You can choose a skippered
charter where we provide a friendly qualified skipper or a bareboat
charter where you take the yacht out yourself – but only if you
have the necessary experience. Charters can range from four hours to
seven days.

Charter midweek and have the harbour to yourself
Sail to Quarantine Beach at Manly and drop anchor. Enjoy the picturesque
Sydney Harbour National Park. Take a refreshing dip in our beautiful
clean harbour
Anchor for the night at Athol Bay. Watch the lights of the City come
alive and illuminate the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge...
what a spectacular sight!!
Sail to the Sydney Fish markets. Grab a kilo of prawns & some crisp
Aussie Chardonnay. Drop anchor at Castle Rock beach & just laze
in the sun, or row ashore & enjoy the Spit to Manly walk.
After your Days Sailing why not take a refreshing dip in our beautiful
clean harbour.

By Sail have the newest charter fleet in Australia. Our luxury Hunter
yachts are easy and fun to sail. They have large, safe cockpits
and many comforts of home. We have an fantastic fleet with five Hunter
33's three Hunter
38's and a Hunter
45 Deck Salon. The larger Hunters even have flat screen TV"s
and BOSE DVD systems. Our yachts can cater from 12 passengers on the
Hunter 33's to eighteen passengers on the Hunter 44.
SCHEDULED DAILY SAILING TRIPS
For the best way to explore Sydney
Harbour, join our three hour Sailing Experience. This is our most
popular activity. Join us aboard one of our luxury
Hunter sailing yachts and be part of the crew. Trim the sails or
have a try on the helm as we navigate our way past Sydney's historical
attractions, luxury homes and beautiful bays and beaches. Our
friendly Skipper will show you the ropes and can teach you the basic
fundaments of sailing. Or if you prefer just sit back and relax as we
glide under sail around our world famous harbour. Our
Port Jackson sails are a fun, safe and exciting way to see Sydney.
Departures are daily and bookings are required. You can book individually
or as a group.
BOXING DAY CHARTERS
Witness the all time classic!! The start of one of the most renowned
yacht races in the world. See
the splendour of Australias' finest racing yachts jostle for position,
then, as the canon signals the start, watch as we follow the fleet through
the harbour towards Sydney Heads. As the fleet begins the sometimes
perilous 650 miles journey down the coast, we seek sanctuary of a sheltered
anchorage and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch, relax and take a refreshing
swim before we set sail back down the harbour, passing the many bays,
beaches and historic homes on our way back.
AUSTRALIA DAY CHARTERS
Sydney Harbour is the focal point for Australia
Day celebrations. Each year the Harbour is the venue for a full
program of events including the annual Ferrython, Tall Ships Race, Flags
Afloat Parade and Jazz On The Water. Charter
a yacht with friends for the day or for the night. Watch the night
time Jazz Band followed by the Australia
Day Fireworks Spectacular.
NEW YEARS EVE CHARTERS
Few places in the world can be more impressive than New
Years Eve on Sydney Harbour. A truely awesome and unforgetable experience.
Charter one of our luxury
Hunter yachts complete with skipper for a night to remember. Individuals
and small groups can also be accommodated for a scheduled departure
from 6 pm to 1 am the following morning. The cost is $295 per person
and includes gourmet
finger food and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring your own alchoholic
beverages. We have the unique advantage of being able to view the fireworks
from a special commercial vessel exclusion zone providing clear and
unrestricted views of Fort Denison and the Harbour Bridge. Fireworks
are set off at 9.00pm and again with a larger display at midnight. All
ages welcome.
